Rose McGowan continues to speak out about seemingly sexist wardrobe and other requirements for a role in an Adam Sandler movie, following recent criticism that she says spurred her acting agent to drop her.

The actress last week tweeted what she said were notes attached to a script she had received, which called for a "black (or dark) form-fitting tank that shows off cleavage (push-up bras encouraged). And formfitting leggings or jeans. Nothing white."

"The part that I thought was really funny was, 'Please read the script so you'll understand the context of the scenes,' and I'm like, 'It's an Adam Sandler movie. What am I, like dumb? I get it,'" McGowan said on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday. "And then it encouraged cleavage, like, with the parentheses, 'Push-up bras encouraged.'"

McGowan told her Twitter followers on Wednesday that she "got fired" by her "wussy acting agent" because she "spoke up about the bulls--t in Hollywood."

"#Douchebags," she added.

She received public support from Oscar-nominated actress Jessica Chastain, who tweeted on Thursday that McGowan's "treatment confirms the misogyny underpinning the industry. She should be celebrated for speaking out."

Sandler, who typically produces his own movies and currently has more than 10 under development, has not commented. On Watch What Happens Live, McGowan clarified that it was not the actor himself who penned the note.

"He didn't do it," she said. "It was the casting office...it's just institutionalized stupidity."

"It was probably a girl that had to type that out," she added.
