There's a 50/50 chance that things are not as horrible as they may seem.

The mother of dragons may not be the mother of spoilers, but she's still keeping us hopeful.

In an interview with MTV News, Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones (Khaleesi!), says she gives Jon Snow a "50/50" chance of not being dead.

We're glass-half-full kind of people, so we like those odds!

"I don't know," she says when asked if she thinks he's really dead. "If I had to bet, I would say, like, it's a 50/50 chance. I mean, there's some helpful people there who could bring him on back to life."

People named Melisandre, perhaps?

While Clarke, who stars as Sarah Connor in Terminator Genisys (who was once played by her GOT co-star Lena Headey!). says she "cried and cried" and took Kit Harington out for many drinks and accused him of abandoning her, it sounds like Daenerys might not be too upset about losing Jon (who she's never actually met on the show).

"If it means that I'm that much closer to getting to the throne, then hey, OK!" Clarke says.

Unfortunately, Clarke also admits that no one tells her anything due to the fact that she can't keep a secret. "They know that I can't lie very well," the actress says. "I can, with all honesty, say that I have no idea what's happening. I have no idea what's gonna happen."

But if they did tell her, Clarke reveals one sure-fire way to get some scoop on out  of her, telling The BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw she will offer up spoilers in exchange for libations. "It depends how many drinks you've had!" However, there is one person who definitely isn't asking her for spoilers. "With my brother, I'll be saying stuff and talking about stuff, and he's like, 'I watch, stop telling me!'" she says. "So more often than not, they get annoyed. They don't want to know!"
