The rapper has stayed away from the spotlight for quite some time, but recently resurfaced in the form of an Instagram photo with New Zealand DJ Zane Lowe, and his rare appearance only proved one thing—the real Slim Shady does not age.
Seriously, Marshall Mathers looks just as we remember him in the snapshot, which shows the celeb chatting with Lowe while in the studio.
The picture is not only a sneak peek at what Em's up to now, but also a glimpse at Lowe's new gig with Apple Music. He revealed in February that after years as the host of BBC Radio 1, Lowe had plans to leave the network for a job with Apple, and will return to the airwaves under the new Apple Music streaming service.
And can you guess who his first interview is with?! "My first interview for #beats1 @eminem Next week on @applemusic," Lowe captioned the IG post.
While we haven't seen Em in a while, he's definitely been busy with new music.
He not be gracing us with his presence on the big screen in Southpaw, but he will be present in the movie by way of the movie's soundtrack.
The rapper's "Phenomenal" dropped earlier this month and it has all the makings of a classic pump-up song. Think a combination of "Till I Collapse" and "Lose Yourself" with a hint of "Mockingbird's" realness.
Hopefully this is just a taste of more Slim Shady epicness to come.
