Watch: E! Looks Back at Mark Wahlberg in 1994

What do you get when you combine 23-year-old Mark Wahlberg with Shakespeare? Pure, unadulterated magic, you guys.

The hunky actor was interviewed by E! News way back in 1994 while he was busy promoting the flick Renaissance Man, and we asked him all about one of his first experiences on a film set.

"It was out of woods [and] into some sense of reality," he dished. "We went wild on the lot though. We stole carts and caused trouble and got chased by security and stole bikes. The whole nine. Lots of fun."

Marky Mark smirked as he spilled the beans about some of the on-set antics that ensued without going into all the gritty detail. Oh, to have been a fly on the walls of that lot!

But back to all things Billy Shakes, our reporter asked the former Calvin Klein model if he has a favorite quote or play, and his response may surprise you.

"There's a motto in there that I really like: To thine own self be true," he says theatrically.

"I keep this and keep this," he adds while pointing to his heart and head. "You know what I'm saying? I can't sell that for nothing." Goddammit, Mark you're so right.

But don't take our word for it. Watch the epic throwback video above and feast your eyes on the gift that is Mr. Wahlberg.
