Some good news for Jarret Stoll

The L.A. Kings star's felony charge has been dismissed, E! News confirms, about two months after Erin Andrew's boyfriend was arrested in Las Vegas on suspicion of possession of cocaine and Ecstasy.

The athlete stuck a plea deal following the felony cocaine possession charge he received on Monday in connection with his April arrest at the MGM Grand's Wet Republic pool club in Sin City. He was facing a possible four-year prison sentence if convicted.

E! News has learned Stoll pled guilty two misdemeanors, trespass & Provoke Commission of Breach of Peace, and he must perform 32 hours of community service, which will be done at the Salvation Army.

Additionally, the 33-year-old hockey star will establish a program for at risk teenagers which exposes kids to hockey. Stoll will run the program and finance the cost; in exchange, he will not serve any time in jail.

"Now that the case has been resolved I am committed to meeting all of my obligations to the court am grateful for the chance to offer guidance and share positive life lessons to kids as part of the resolution of this matter," Stoll told E! News in a statement. "My focus remains on hockey and I am looking forward to getting back on the ice next season."

Stoll was previously busted for alleged drug possession on April 17. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police noted in its arrest report that Stoll consented to a voluntary pat-down at the entrance to Wet Republic and the search turned up what toxicology tests later showed were 3.3 grams of cocaine and gel caps containing MDMA in the pocket of his swim trunks.

The NHL star, who has played with the Kings for seven seasons, was already due to become a free agent after the 2014-2015 season, during which the defending Stanley Cup champions failed to make the playoffs. After his arrest, the team said that they were conducting an internal investigation.

Andrews, meanwhile, has yet to comment on Stoll's legal run-in.
