Last night we did something that changed our lives forever—we attended an Ed Sheeran concert.

No, this wasn't our first concert (we're proud to say that title belongs to Janet Jackson: The Rhythm Nation tour; where is that key loop earring?!), but it was something that made us experience emotions that we haven't felt before.

The "Thinking Out Loud" singer is currently out on tour promoting his album X, and we had the oh-so-terrible task (sarcasm) of attending the first of two sold-out shows in Los Angeles.

LA night #1 !

As soon as he walked on stage not only did he command our attention (especially away from the numerous tweens trying to take the perfect selfie with Sheeran in the background #nojudgement), but he demanded fun.

For the next few hours all he wanted was for us to sing-along with him—and sing we did! We danced, we laughed, we cried, we smiled! He put on a show that made you feel like you were at a house party and your bestie was giving an impromptu performance.

We would like to take this time to thank Sheeran for changing our lives for the better.

Here are the top five reason why Ed Sheeran is everything and more:

1. Sheeran Is a Badass: Sorry, but we are still picking our jaws up from the floor after watching this 24-year-old rock the stage of the Hollywood Bowl last night by himself. Yes. He is a one man band. It's just Sheeran, his guitar and his handy-dandy loop pedal.

He is so good in fact that he told a story about a couple in Winnipeg, Canada, who requested their money back because they did not pay to see Sheeran sing with a backtrack and a band that was playing in the dark. Seriously! He is that incredible.

It's all done live, people. He continuously blew our minds the way he looped his heart-melting vocals, created the perfect percussion sound on his guitar and—wait did we mention what a guitar god he is? Life. Changing.

We are pretty sure his hands are not human. Pure magic. Within the first five minutes you are guaranteed to stop singing the lyrics to "I'm a Mess" and stand in amazement at all the talent that is happening before your eyes.

2. He Will Make You Swoon: Who says gingers don't have souls? Sheeran has the time of his life on stage and sings his heart out, and he wants you to too! The electric energy that exudes out of the British musician and into the crowd is unreal.

During "Photograph," "Tenerife Sea" and "I See Fire," his vocals get deep inside you and make you feel things that you have never felt before. Not to mention he covers some all-time favorites like "Ain't No Sunshine," "I Was Made To Love Her" and "Feeling Good".

He commands your attention and participation. He can silence you with one song and then get you all riled up and dancing like an idiot (to his request) with another.

By the end of the night, our feet hurt and we had no voice left. Now, can we do this again, like every night?

3. He Will Make You Fall in Love: Whether it is with him, your significant other, his music or the random person standing next to you, it doesn't matter, because at some point you will fall in love and we are willing to bet it is when Sheeran nonchalantly starts playing his hit "Thinking Out Loud."

Without warning, those magical fingers start strumming the famous notes of the wedding song of the year (obvi), and you start to hear the oohs and ahhs in the crowd. You will turn to mush and you will sing-along as if you are in your car all alone.

Not to mention the music video for the beautiful ballad is playing on the giant screens behind him. The one where Ed is ballroom dancing with a pretty brunette. Nice touch, Sheeran. Bring the tissues.

4. His Rap Game Is on Point: It's like a word explosion. You don't know what is going on and your head is spinning in the best way possible.

He delivered every line with passion and intensity, plus he is pretty hot while doing it. Not like we didn't expect to hear the shrieks of teen girls as the talented musician worked the stage, but every single person in the crowd was feeling his flow and wanting more.

One memorable moment was during "Take It Back Now" when he spurted the line "'Cause I'm a singer that you never wanna see shirtless." From the sound of it—and the screams—the ladies beg to differ. The song should be called "Take It Off Now."

Ed, if you are reading this, we would like to request a full rap album. Because, yes. Thanksbye.

5. He Makes Us Want to Be in His Clique: Like we even need to explain this one. He already counts Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Jay Z, Kit Harington and Jennifer Aniston as some of his famous friends, not to mention the all ones who were in attendance last night.

We hear that Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas, the ladies of Fifth Harmony, LeAnn Rimes and husband Eddie Cibrian, and Sheeran's buddy Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid and gorgeous fiancée Courteney Cox were all seen having a smashing good time.

Seriously, how do we get in this friend circle?
