Just hours before she gave an impressive talk at the Cannes Lions festival, where the 34-year-old pregnant star spoke about trends in digital storytelling following the success of her app Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, Kanye West's wife had a wake-up call that was a bit more intense than she bargained for.
Namely, she was awoken by a drunk, naked woman.
"Thanks to the drunk naked woman banging on my door I have been up since 4 am! I'm so sleepy now but have to work! It's gonna be a long day!" the soon-to-be mother of two tweeted this morning. "I took a fun video of her as a reminder of why I never tolerated drinking 2 much! Slob kabob! I won't post it but it's funny!"
"She thought her Amex was my room key lol," Kardashian continued, adding, "I think she's staying at my hotel she just had the wrong room # I hope I run into her today."
Talk about an unexpected start to her morning...
In spite of her uncoventional alarm clock, the reality star wowed the crowd—a majority of advertisors and business people—during her talk, revealing the secret to her brand and even joking about her endless bikini selfies.
Asked to share the one essential value for building a successful brand, the E! star promptly replied, "authenticity," the U.K. Mirror reports.
She also admitted her selfies may be a bit too much for the average social media user, but she's proud of the fact that her Instagram is built solely for her fans.
"Maybe I post too many bikini selfies for some people," she said, "But my Instagram is exactly what I want."
"I know some of the brands I work with might get frustrated. I will only post a picture of a brand I like if I really love it. And I also say that my Instagram is off limits in my business contracts," she continued, noting. "I've actually unfollowed people who post too many brand-related Instagram pictures because I don't believe in it. I can smell it a mile off."

? Mara (@Marulax) June 24, 2015Kim, who was joined at the event by mom Kris Jenner, who brought along boyfriend Cory Gamble, credited her husband, Kanye West, with pushing her to venture into the tech industry.
"Kanye really talked me into doing this partnership [with Glu mobile]," she revealed. "He always wanted to do music for video games, so he thought it was the coolest thing in the world to have a video game with a character of myself."
"I thank Kanye every day for making me do this deal," the proud wife added.
As for her tip for always being professional?
"I always say, don't be late. I tell my team I don't want a rider and I just want to turn up with as few people as possible and most importantly, just be gracious," she explained.
Wearing a black and gold Balmain suit, North West's mama also said she's happy to bring a female presence to a male-dominated industry.
"I feel excited that we brought a female fan base to the gaming world and to the tech world," she said, admitting, "It's been a new venture for me and scary for me to step into such a male dominated world."
Considering the app racked in an estimated $200 million in revenue in 2014, we say Kim is killing it.
