No one does maternity style quite like Kristin Cavallari.

The former star of MTV's Laguna Beach and The Hills modeled two outfits on Instagram Tuesday. In the first photo, she cradled her baby bump while wearing a teal Azzedine Alaïa dress and Kristin Cavallari for Chinese Laundry heels. "Just finishing filming...will let u know what show when I'm allowed to," she said.

Cavallari opted for a more casual look in the second picture, pairing chic LBD with a white vest and flats.

Earlier this month, Cavallari—who grew up in Barrington, Ill.—unwittingly stirred up a bit of controversy when she told Elle magazine that her husband Jay Cutler, "hates L.A," adding, "Chicago's just not home." The athlete, 32, defended his wife's remarks Saturday. "We have family in Chicago," the Chicago Bears quarterback told ESPN. "We have a house in Chicago. Our roots are in Chicago. We love being there."

Cavallari, who has rented homes with Cutler in Lake Forest and Winnetka, told Elle that she hopes to make the family's residence in Nashville their permanent home—that is, "if all goes according to plan." Cutler's multimillion-dollar Chicago Bears contract runs through 2020, so for the next five years, the family will stay put.

So, what's next for the 28-year-old former reality star?

Since leaving MTV behind, the mom of two has continued to design her shoes and jewelry. She also maintains an app and is writing a book, Balancing in Heels, out in 2016. "I sort of have stepped out of the public eye and it's actually been really refreshing," she confessed to the magazine. "I was a little nervous at first, to be honest, just because I didn't…It's sort of always been ingrained in me that if you want to be in the entertainment business, you either have to be in L.A. or New York. And so when I married Jay, I officially moved to Chicago. I was a little scared. I didn't really know exactly what I wanted to do with my career, but everything has sort of fallen into place with the shoes, especially, the jewelry, and now this book."
