Sadly, Conrad Hilton has attracted the wrong kind of attention once again.

The 21-year-old hotel heir was arrested Monday afternoon for allegedly violating a restraining order obtained by his ex-girlfriend, Hunter Salomon. But we digress.

The LAPD confirmed to E! News today that officers responded Monday to a report of a restraining order violation at a residence in the Hollywood Hills. Hilton was booked on suspicion of the misdemeanor offense at the LAPD's Hollywood Station and released on $5,000 bail.

Hunter first secured a temporary restraining order against Hilton on May 22. Per a copy of the TRO obtained by E! News, she stated in a declaration that she and Hilton dated several years ago but they "have not been together for quite some time."

Since September 2014, she alleged in the filing, Hilton had been calling and texting her asking for a meet-up, calling her the "love of his life." Hunter stated that she never agreed to see him and repeatedly told him to stop contacting her, adding that she would see him sitting outside her house waiting for her on numerous occasions.

Per copies of text exchanges included in the filing, Hilton allegedly wrote, "Please get a restraining order on me. I'm tired of sitting outside of your house." And then the following morning he wrote, per the copy, "May I please see you before I kill myself? You don't have to say a word, all I want is to see you one last time."

"Conrad's state of mind does not seem stable and his actions are frightening me and my family causing a great deal of stress and fear," she stated in the declaration, citing his arrest (and subsequent plea deal) for disrupting an international flight last summer, which prompted federal criminal charges. Hilton was sentenced earlier this month to three years' probation and 750 hours of community service after pleading guilty to simple assault.

Hunter further stated in the TRO filing that he had appeared outside her house as recently as May 20 at 3 a.m. and refused to leave.

Per the terms of the TRO, Hilton was required to stay at least 100 yards away from Hunter and her residence.

E! News has reached out to Hilton's attorney and a family rep for comments.
