Gwyneth Paltrow Honors Moses and Apple's ''Engaged and Present'' Dad, Chris Martin, on Father's Day

"Nothing like father-daughter love," she captioned a sweet pic of Martin with their daughter, Apple

Having adored her own dad so much, Gwyneth Paltrow was happy to give credit where it's due on Father's Day.

"Nothing like father/daughter love. Happy Father's Day to you,CAJM," read the sweet shout-out to ex Chris Martin that Paltrow posted on Instagram yesterday with a pic of Martin and their daughter, Apple. (Presumably the father-son love between Martin and Moses is present and accounted for in daily life, but this was just such a sweet pic...)

"Here is to all the engaged and present fathers, you create a backbone for society," she continued. "We honor you all today."

A friend once said to me right after my father died, 'everyone has a father, but not everyone has a daddy'. Brucie, you were both. To say that I miss you is an understatement. Happy Father's Day to you, wherever you are. You were the best of the best.

Apple's sun-kissed visage is the spitting image of little Gwyneth, as seen in the touching throwback pic Paltrow posted to honor late dad Bruce Paltrow yesterday. But also, seeing Apple close-up with her dad, it's evident that there's a lot of Martin in that face, too.

And as you can see, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
