AdweekWant to get on Kris Jenner's bad side? Mess with her family...or the team behind the Kardashian-Jenner empire she's created!
That's exactly what Flipping Out's Jeff Lewis claims to have done! As the Bravo star tells Adweek, "...we recently stole one of her assistants—and I don't think she's happy."
"But he is so good," says Jeff of the employee he purportedly poached from Kris. "I mean, the way she's training those guys over there! If I have to stand outside Jenner Communications and make offers on the spot, I will."
Hmm, gotta be careful any disloyal dolls! In any case, Jeff, 45, is quite impressed by Kris and the hand she's had in her children's successes. In fact, he likens his partner Gage Edward, 30, to the Keeping Up With the Kardashians matriarch.
"I call him 'Kris Jenner,'" he says of his "very bright, very advanced beyond his years, very mature" partner. "...because he's kind of the Kris Jenner behind this whole machine."
There's a key difference between Kris and Gage, though: Jeff steals from one, but he's soon to be sharing something major with the other: A baby!
The couple are expecting via surrogate. "It's crazy, huh?" Jeff says to Adweek.
And not to worry, this famed perfectionist isn't concerned about messy diapers and all the chaos a child will bring to his otherwise pristine home. "I clean up messes all day long," Jeff says. "One more won't change anything."
Maybe not, but don't be expecting a certain momager to send along a baby gift!
