Alejandro Rhett is probably regretting that night out right about now.

The J. Crew vice president of men's merchandising is currently getting a massive amount of backlash after the public learned of his recent actions following a huge lay-off with the company.

Rhett personally delivered the bad news to several workers who were among the 175 layoffs at the struggling company on Wednesday, sources told The Post, and right after firing a bunch of people from the company, the 31-year-old decided to go out and party.

Some of you might not think that's horrible (people like to grab drinks after work), but his hashtags didn't help, either.

Rhett, went from J.Crew's East Village headquarters to the Linen Hall bar, where he and other still-employed colleagues enjoyed some alcoholic beverages, according to a few Instagram photos that have since been deleted.

In one shot, Rhett and a female pal were literally jumping for joy, with the executive holding up a drink in one hand while holding up a No. 1 with his finger on the other hand, and the caption included hashtags like #hungergames and #maytheoddsbeeverinyourfavor.

Sigh, not cool. A number of people have taken to social media to complain about Rhett's behavior and advise the company to fire him, too.

Although a company spokesman would not elaborate whether that's something they're seriously considering, the rep did say that J. Crew "does not condone" Rhett's massive lapse in judgment and told The Post that "[a]s soon as we were made aware, the appropriate actions took place."

E! News has reached out to both Rhett and J.Crew for comment.
