Just one day after it was reported that the former couple called off their engagement after three years together, the 24-year-old Scream Queens star was spotted out and about in Los Angeles, where she was snapped picking up a few drinks at Coffee Bean with a friend. The coffee run presumably served as a quick caffeine fix before the ladies headed to the horse races at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, Calif., as Emma and her pals later shared a number of Instagram pics while enjoying the races.
Roberts looked casual chic in a plaid dress and lace-up wedges, which she teamed with a denim jacket. The American Horror Story beauty wore her long hair down and completed her look with a trendy pair of round shades, and her engagement ring from Peters was noticeably absent from her left hand.
In spite of the split, the actress appeared in good spirits, smiling and laughing in a number of pics as she enjoyed her day out with her BFFs.
On Friday, Just Jared was first to report the news that the former couple had called it quits with an insider telling the site, "Their three years together just ran its course. They have so many great memories together but couldn't make it work in the end. The breakup was amicable—there was no drama whatsoever. Emma and Evan are even still friends!"
Neither Emma nor Evan has publicly addressed the break up, and reps for the actors have yet to return a request for comment.
Roberts and Peters, 28, began dating in 2012 after meeting on the set of the indie movie Adult World. The two got engaged over the Christmas holiday in 2013, and they even co-starred together again when Emma joined Evan in FX series American Horror Story: Coven and American Horror Story: Freak Show.
