Lena Dunham channeled one of the greatest vocalists of all time and issued a challenge to Kendall Jenner and sister Kylie Jenner on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

In a recent episode of the NBC series, the Girls star and creator told host Jimmy Fallon that she wanted to face off against him in a lip sync battle, on the late-night talk show, despite him producing a separate celebrity competition series, Lip Sync Battle.

"I'm a Lip Sync Battle purist and I wanted to take it back to home base," she said. "And against you."

She lip-synced the 2014 song "Outside" by Calvin Harris, featuring Ellie Goulding, and also took on the 1978 rock anthem "Fat Bottomed Girls," sung by the late, great Freddie Mercury, while shaking her butt in front of Fallon.

Fallon sang Charlene's 1977 ballad "I've Never Been to Me" and Run-DMC's 1988 hit "Run's House."

Fallon asked Dunham who would be her dream Lip Sync Battle opponent.

"I've been thinking about this—I think it would be Kendall and Kylie Jenner together," she replied. "As a team."

"They can practice as long as they want," she added.
