Shortly after stepping onto the red carpet at the 2015 CMT Music Awards Wednesday night, the country music star made his way backstage to gear up for his performance.
Once he hit the stage to perform "Tonight Looks Good On You," one special lady in the audience couldn't help but get on her feet and sing along.
During the show, cameras panned to his wife Brittany Kerr who clearly knew all the words to his hit single. Whether you want to call her a superfan or just a proud wife, the newlywed knows her man's tunes.
The love continued once Billy Ray Cyrus and Kellie Pickler crowned Aldean the winner for CMT Performance of the Year. After sharing a kiss on the lips with Kerr, Aldean made his way to the stage once again where he thanked his family.
"My beautiful wife Brittany over here, I love you baby," he shared before also giving a shoutout to his kids. "Thank you all so much, I appreciate it."
The couple said "I Do" during a romantic ceremony in Mexico this past March. Ever since then, the newlyweds have expressed how happy they are as husband and wife.
"We were already living together and it kinda felt like we were married anyway," he told E! News shortly after the wedding. "We were kind of living the married life anyways so for us it was kind of just going through the formalities of it all. It was nice to do that and kind of make it official. It's been a good week."
