Watch: 9 Best Dinosaur Movies of All Time

This one's for you, aspiring paleontologists!

From the groundbreaking visual effects seen in Disney's Dinosaur to the cute and cuddly baby dino's featured in Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (for a hot second we seriously wanted a pint-size pet T-Rex after this one), prehistoric reptiles have long been a mainstay in Hollywood cinema. Who could forget the 1995 classic Theodore Rex, where Whoopi Goldberg plays a police officer paired up with a talking dinosaur to save the world? We know, we know...why was a sequel never made?

But it wasn't until the terrifyingly awesome first Jurassic Park installment hit theaters in 1993 did dinosaurs and popcorn become one of our favorite movie-night combos. Steven Spielberg's initial dino film and its sequel Lost World: Jurassic Park paved the way for one of summer's most highly anticipated flicks: Jurassic World.

The stars of the newest dinosaur-inspired movie recently opened up to E! News about where they got their dino learning from.

"Everything I that I know about dinosaurs I learned from my 8-year-old son," Bryce Dallas Howard joked. "He's really embarrassed of me, so I think you probably know more."

"Everything I know about dinosaurs I've learned from watching Jurassic Park," Chris Pratt laughed.

In celebration of its upcoming release and Pratt's starring role (because, duh), press play to find which dinosaur movie snagged the top spot. Sound off in the comments if yours made the list!
