Clint Eastwood's a talented actor and fine director, but his stage presentation skills need some work.

During filming of Spike TV's Guys' Choice Awards on Sunday, the 85-year-old Oscar winner made a joke at Caitlyn Jenner's expense while introducing Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, comparing to the 65-year-old Olympian to other athletes-turned-actors, like "Jim Brown and Caitlyn somebody..."

Was Eastwood's infamous empty chair out of commission or something? Well, whatever the case was, this low-brow dig won't be seen on TV. David Shwarz, Spike TV senior vice president of communications, confirmed to E! News this reference will be cut from the June 18 broadcast of the Guys' Choice Awards.

(With the release of her Vanity Fair cover, Caitlyn has chosen to publicly identify as a woman and E! News will refer to her using female pronouns. In stories published prior to this date, Caitlyn was referred to as Bruce and male pronouns were used).

Jenner's athletic accomplishments will be properly honored at the 2015 ESPY Awards in July, where she will receive the Arthur Ashe Courage Award. Upon learning she would receive the prestigious award, Jenner said in a statement: "In the past few months, the overwhelming outpouring of support from all over the world for my journey has been incredible...However, being honored with this award, which is named after one of my heroes, is truly special. For the first time this July, I will be able to stand as my true self in front of my peers."

She also tweeted a link to ESPN's press release on the award, quipping, "What the hell am I going to wear?"

Oh, she'll find something—and she can always raid her daughters' closets for designer duds!

The Guys Choice Awards will air Sunday, June 18, at 9 p.m. on Spike TV.

Plus, don't forget to tune in to the premiere of I Am Cait on Sunday, July 26, at 9 p.m., only on E!
