Beyoncé may be ***Flawless, but no, she did not wake up like this.

The singer opened up about her recent weight loss on ABC's Good Morning America Monday. "This is something I have to share with everyone," the "Feelin' Myself" singer, 33, said of The 22-Day Revolution.

Without revealing exactly how many pounds she's lost on the vegan meal plan, Beyoncé said, "I am not naturally the thinnest. I have curves. I'm proud of my curves and I have struggled since a young age with diets and finding something that actually works, actually keeps the weight off, has been difficult for me."

Marco Borges, the exercise physiologist who wrote The 22-Day Revolution and earned acclaim from Jay Z and Pharrell Williams, explained the premise of his plant-based program. "Psychologists have learned that it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. So if you adopted a healthy habit over the course of 21 days, on the 22nd day, you'll be armed with a new habit. That is the magic to sustainability."

For people who want to look and feel like Beyoncé, Borges recommended they eat three meals a day (focusing on carbohydrates over protein and fat), exercise for 30 minutes a day and drink lots of water.

The plant-based diet offers other benefits, too. "I felt like my skin was really firm, a lot tighter than when I deprived myself of food and got the weight off fast," Beyoncé promised. With the plant-based diet, she said, "The weight stayed off."

After trying a vegan diet challenge in 2013, Beyoncé and Borges teamed up to create a meal plan service, 22 Days Nutrition; their partnership was announced in January. "I am so grateful that I took the challenge and credit Marco with leading by example. He is the most energetic person I know and it's all because of his decision to live a healthy lifestyle. He came up with a great program to get people motivated to make better nutritional choices. All you have to do is try," Beyoncé said in a statement. The "Baby Boy" singer added, "If I can do it, anyone can."
