As headlines continue to swirl around her brother Josh Duggar, the 19 Kids and Counting star made it a priority to celebrate her newborn baby's two-month birthday Saturday afternoon by husband Derick Dillard's side.
In her first Instagram in more than two weeks, Jill shared a photo of her smiling son while he rested on a giant pillow.
"Happy 2 month birthday #IsraelDavidDillard! We are so blessed to be your parents!" she captioned online. "May you grow up to love Jesus and serve others! #2MonthBirthday @DerickDillard."
Derick would ultimately share the same photo with a separate caption relating to his baby boy.
"We are so blessed to be this little guy's parents! Happy 2 month birthday Israel!" he wrote. "May you continue to grow both in stature and in favor with the Lord and also with man. #israeldaviddillard #jillmdillard #2months."
Fans of the couple have had a front-row seat to their changing family dynamics thanks to their active Instagram accounts and hit TLC show.
But in the wake of Josh's scandal, the future of 19 Kids and Counting remains in serious jeopardy. The show has been pulled from both Hulu and TLC. In addition, many advertisers have distanced themselves from the series.
As everyone waits for an official announcement regarding the series, Jill and Derick are focused on being the best parents for their son.
"I pray that you will continue to grow, in stature, in knowledge, and in wisdom, true wisdom, that is from the Lord," Derick recently wrote on his blog. "And know that I love you son and I always will, no matter what. I will say it again… I love you Israel! -Your daddy."
