Hollywood is taking an interest in Caitlyn Jenner.

Just a few short days after the 65-year-old's Vanity Fair cover made headlines across the country, one critically acclaimed show is expressing their interest in casting the Olympic athlete.

A source confirms to E! News that Caitlyn has been asked to visit the set of Transparent. And while the show isn't exactly sure of her acting abilities, they still "would love her to be in" a future episode.

(With the release of her Vanity Fair cover, Caitlyn has chosen to publicly identify as a woman and E! News will refer to her using female pronouns. In stories published prior to this date, Caitlyn was referred to as Bruce and male pronouns were used.)

Earlier this week, show creator Jill Soloway spoke out following the release of Caitlyn's magazine cover. While appearing at the Brass Ring Awards at the Beverly Hilton, the woman behind the Amazon series responded to reports about Caitlyn's possible involvement in the show.

"I don't know if she'd want to act, but we definitely want to incorporate the fact that she came out into the season," Soloway told Variety. "Just to have that base conversation somewhere in a scene, for sure."

She continued, "Sometimes I just trip on the fact that she's the patriarch of the most famous family on the planet. There's an international resonance with people recognizing that trans people are people too."

As Transparent gears up for another season on Amazon, Caitlyn is preparing for the series premiere of her own docu-series.

On Wednesday morning, E! revealed the first promo for the eight-part, one-hour documentary series titled I Am Cait. The show will illustrate the star living her life as a transgender woman and telling her intimate story as she seeks out her "new normal."

In the first look, Caitlyn quickly realizes the "pressure women are under about their appearance" as she grooms herself by applying lip gloss and face powder. She also steps out into the public where "it's so great out there."

I Am Cait will premiere on Sunday, July 26, at 9 p.m. only on E!
