Talk about a smooth and speedy recovery!

Fans of Sam Smith have been carefully watching the "Stay With Me" crooner's social media accounts looking for any and all updates on their favorite singer's condition. Luckily, many were treated to fantastic news Wednesday afternoon when the Grammy winner revealed his latest milestone.

"I CAN SPEAK AGAIN!!!!!!" Smith shared on Instagram with a picture of Ariel from The Little Mermaid after she used her voice for good.

Just last month, the 23-year-old underwent vocal surgery after a "small hemorrhage" was discovered on his vocal cords. He was forced to cancel his Australian tour after the scary health development.

At the time, he promised fans that he would "be back in 6-8 weeks" and that he couldn't "wait to sing for you all soon."

So who made this recovery possible? As it turns out, Smith was more than willing to give credit where credit is due and share the identity of the doctor.

"Completely overwhelmed. Thank you so much Doctor Zeitels for everything," he wrote on social media. "You have truly saved me this past few months. Such an amazing man."

He added, "You truly truly truly don't know what you got until you lose it."
