One of our favorite plus-size models is appearing in yet another prestigious publication. This time, however, she's ready to pose in a black bikini.
"I hope women see me embracing my curves in my bikini and feel empowered to do the same," Graham proclaimed in the July issue of Elle U.K. on sale Thursday. "I have no reason to hide, and neither should any woman. Curves and confidence make a sexy combination."
At just 27 years old, the supermodel has inspired thousands of women with her beauty and body confidence. In fact, she recently got fans on their feet when she delivered a TED talk titled "Plus Size? More Like My Size" in Spain.
"I'm never looking to be thinner, only firmer and stronger," she told the magazine that is also available on Apple newsstands digitally. "I love my curves and only want to enhance them."
Along the way, however, Graham has faced some critics who insist she is trying to glamourize obesity. But to nobody's surprise, the model has the perfect response for that so-called argument.
"There are also women who are getting thinner and thinner," she proclaimed. "I don't promote anorexia or obesity. I promote health. And healthy at whatever size your body needs to be."
As the brunette beauty continues to book impressive gigs in both magazines and the modeling industry, Graham is also staying true to herself when it comes to her personal life.
In a surprise confession, the model shared with Elle U.K. that she is giving up sex before marriage. It's a decision that could make her feel even more confident with her body.
"I had to reclaim my body, my sexuality and my image. It was the best thing I've ever done," she shared. "You don't wake up with regrets. I'm not having a man decide what he's going to do with my body; I'll decide."
