Proud daughter alert!

When Kim Kardashian first saw Caitlyn Jenner on the cover of Vanity Fair, her reaction was everything we had hoped for and more. Yes, she was supportive and absolutely thrilled to see her parent living her true self!

"She looked so beautiful," the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star told E! News Monday night at the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City. "I'm so proud of her and she's so inspiring."

(With the release of her Vanity Fair cover on June 1, Caitlyn has chosen to publicly identify as a woman and E! News will refer to her using female pronouns. In stories published prior to this date, Caitlyn was referred to as Bruce and male pronouns were used.)

Mrs. Kanye West continued, "She wants to help others and get a good message out there."

That message is now being spread throughout social media. In fact, Caitlyn broke President Barack Obama's Twitter record for fastest growing account to reach one million followers. And before you even ask, Kim is definitely one of those million giving the Olympian a follow.

"I think we have a big platform on social media and we do use it for good," Kim explained. "I started to follow Caitlyn's Twitter account today and I'm so excited for her."

As one may have predicted, Caitlyn's debut as a woman on Vanity Fair was certainly quite the talk of the red carpet Monday evening. In fact, family friend Gigi Hadid couldn't help but share her support for the 65-year-old.

"The Vanity Fair cover touched me and will make history," the supermodel shared with E! News. "Through Caitlyn's message, she is helping herself and so many other people."

Bella Hadid called the cover "bold" while Karlie Kloss couldn't stop praising how "beautiful" it looked.

Vanessa Hudgens, however, may have summed it up best by commending Caitlyn's courage and decision to live her true self in the public eye.

"If we could all be that brave," the Broadway star shared with us, "the world would be a better place."
