If there's anyone that could have seen trouble between Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff's relationship, perhaps it could have been Erin Andrews.

After all, the Dancing With the Stars co-host was always around the pair as Chris hit the dance floor week after week on the hit ABC series.

But when E! News confirmed The Bachelor couple had decided to call off their engagement just two months after the finale aired, Erin admitted she didn't exactly see this split coming.

"I had no idea because I follow it just like everybody else does on Twitter," she told E! News after announcing she will co-host the 2015 CMT Music Awards with Brittany Snow. "I think [Whitney] posted for the six-month anniversary of the proposal so this was a shock to me."

In addition, Erin had no advance notice of the news. In fact, she was shooting promos for her upcoming awards show airing June 10 when she first learned of the breakup.

"I was shocked," she explained after finding out on social media. "I'm a geek on Twitter and I was like, ‘breaking news you guys!' She was around our studio a lot on Mondays and Tuesdays so I had no idea this was coming."

As the couple tries to get used to their new relationship status, both parties are thanking fans for their support on social media.

"I can't thank you all enough for the kind messages over the past few days," Chris shared on Twitter. "This has been really tough and your support means a lot to me."

Whitney added, "From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your outpouring love, kindness and support! It means so much to me!"

And while some may be quick to point out the low success rate for Bachelor and Bachelorette couples, die-hard fans like Brittany still find the news upsetting every time.

"It's always heartbreaking," she explained. "It really is for me." Don't worry, girl. You're not alone.
