The couple, who will have been married 10 years come the end of June, stepped out for some lunch in Los Angeles Thursday. They kept a low profile, with both choosing to wear black from head to toe for their date. The actors' children must have been at school because they kept their date kid-free! They probably just need some alone time without their three kids.
Although the two haven't been spotted out and about for a little while doesn't mean the support system has disappeared! Garner appeared with daughter Violet to support Affleck while he testified before the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on State, Foreign Operations and Related Programs. He was there to stress the importance of the United States providing foreign aid to African countries.
Garner and Violet sat behind the Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice star and smiled proudly as they looked at him giving an impassioned speech alongside noted philanthropist Bill Gates. But when this adorable couple isn't hitting up Washington or working on films, they play the role of farmers!
The Alias alum dished to E! News' Marc Malkin that she and the Good Will Hunting star enjoy growing their own food to keep their family healthy. "We talk about our food. We grow food. We talk about what goes into it and how hard it is. They plant it, they water it. We take pictures next to it."
She added with a laugh, "I'm a geek."
Although they don't have a full-fledged farm, it looks like they do have a nice garden going. But sometimes you just want a nice meal from a restaurant, where someone else can do the cooking, which is probably why they went out for lunch LOL.
