Lil Mama just made a big comeback.

This week, the 25-year-old rapper, former America's Best Dance Crew judge and actress who played Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes in the popular VH1 biographical movie CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story released her new '90s-style music video "Sausage" this week. The song is all about safe sex (as was TLC's "Waterfalls") and pays homage to artists such as party pal Mary J. Blige, plus Madonna and Michael Jackson, as well as popular Vine videos.

The hip hop track, a mix of '90s and current hip-hop, R&B and pop, was released earlier this month and is Lil Mama's first in more than five years and contains lyrics such as, "Eggs, bacon, grits (sausage!) / you better use a condom if you taking that (sausage!)"

And the video is just straight-up '90s.

Sporting a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon varsity jacket over a skimpy black outfit, Mama raps on a Brooklyn street and performs with her dancers. She also cruises the street in a green convertible and skips rope.

She wears a black scarf around her head and sunglasses like Blige does in her 1997 music video "Not Gon Cry." She also reenacts scenes from Michael Jackson's 1987 clip "Smooth Criminal" and from Madonna's 1990 video "Vogue."

"Sausage" also contains lyrics from songs such as Blige's "Seven Days" and Kelis' "Milkshake."

Naturally, Twitter went bananas and the reactions were mixed.
