Time has been kind to cast of Cruel Intentions!
Reese Witherspoon, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair attended The Unauthorized Musical Parody Of Cruel Intentions together Thursday at Rockwell: Table & Stage in L.A., and as you can see, these ladies have hardly aged since the original 1999 flick hit theaters!
The gals obviously enjoyed getting back together and reminiscing on the characters they played more than 16 years ago. Reese, now 39, Instagrammed several photos of herself with Sarah Michelle, 38, and Selma, 42, from what she described as the "best girls' night of the year!!!"
Onlookers tell E! News it was clear the trio was having a great time. "There were certain moments throughout the show where their eyes said it all," says an onlooker. "They looked at one another, shook their heads, laughed a bit. Reese and Selma gave each other a few high-fives!"
The musical, directed by Lindsey Rosin, is filled with iconic '90s songs like TLC's "No Scrubs," Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn," and Ace of Base's "I Saw the Sign"—and not surprisingly, Reese, Sarah Michelle and Selma were singing along and dancing in their seats!
During the emotional scene when Sebastian (originally played by Ryan Phillippe, Reese's now ex-husband) tells Reese's character he was never really in love with her and just wanted to see what she "was like in bed," all three actresses shook their heads. All these years later, they still feel their characters' pain!
Roger Kumble, who directed Cruel Intentions the movie, tells E! News exclusively the musical parody gave him "a sense of nostalgia." Selma seemed to agree, telling E! News exclusively, "Some of the best moments of my life were filming this movie!"
Cruel Intentions certainly resonated with its stars—Reese even remembered some of her lines! According to an onlooker, there were times throughout the play when the Oscar winner said her lines as actress Molly McCook delivered them onstage!
After the show, Reese, Sarah Michelle and Selma met their stage counterparts (played by Molly, Katie Stephens, and Shelley Regner, respectively) upstairs and took pictures together. They also mingled with fans and happily posed for pics, and as an onlooker tells E! News, "You could tell the girls had a great time and were loving every minute!"
