Bradley Cooper, could you be any more adorable?

Before the 40-year-old actor was a multiple Oscar nominee, a "Sexiest Man Alive," Jennifer Lawrence's frequent co-star and a cast member of the upcoming movie Aloha, he was a TV star. He played Will Tippin, the hunky, friend-zoned BFF of Jennifer Garner's Sydney Bristow in J.J. Abrams' spy series Alias. The show debuted in 2001 and lasted five seasons. It was Cooper's first major, regular acting role.

He was very excited to be on the show.

"I love this show so much," he told E! News in 2001. "we get the episode like on Friday and I watch. I can't wait. I just run home and watch and I always call J.J. up and talk about all the things that I love about it."

"So the fact that, you know, my friends are then able to watch it on Sunday, I just get such a kick out of," he said. "I always wait just to hear what they think about it."

Cooper, a native of Philadelphia, made his onscreen acting debut in 1999 on the Sex and the City season 2 episode "They Shoot Single People, Don't They?" He made out with Sarah Jessica Parker's Carrie Bradshaw and then mocked her over an unflattering New York Magazine cover.

He later appeared in the TV movie Wall to Wall Records and played recurring character Clay Hammond on The $treet, a show about stock brokers that lasted one season and also starred Jennifer ConnellyJennie Garth, and the Beauty and the Beast series' Tom Everett Scott.

Also in 2001, he made his big screen debut in the film Wet Hot American Summer, which became a cult hit. He and many other cast members are reprising their roles for a Netflix prequel series. Cooper has received individual Oscar nominations for his performances in Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle, both of which earned Lawrence Academy Awards, and earlier his year, American Sniper.

His latest movie, Aloha, was directed by Cameron Crowe and also stars Cooper's Wedding Crashers co-star Rachel McAdams and Emma Stone. The actor plays a military contractor who returns to Hawaii for a job, while McAdams plays his old girlfriend and Stone plays his new love interest. The film is set for release on Friday, May 29.
