Ut, oh… All is not well in the land of loafers and cashmere cardigans. Yes, J.Crew—beloved shop of prepsters everywhere—has been going through some troubled times. According to a new article in the Wall Street Journal, fans feel the label has lost its way. The complaints—and they are plenty—are mainly focused around the high prices, shoddy workmanship, poor quality and a loss of classic, staple pieces in favor or edgier styles.

Indeed, it seems the backlash is very real, as the brand posted a net loss of more than $650 million in the last fiscal year. And you know what they say: Numbers don't lie.

"We've made some missteps over the last year and we are working hard to course correct," said Chief Executive Millard "Mickey" Drexler of women's line told the WSJ.

So fear not fans, J.Crew knows they are in the wrong. Next step: Making a comeback.

What do you think? Are you over the brand?
