It appears Suicide Squad will indeed feature Batman—and in an awesome way!

The superhero is rumored to appear in the DC Comics supervillain film but his participation has not been confirmed. The movie began production in Toronto in April and Ben Affleck, 42, who will make his debut as the character in Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, was spotted on the set.

A man, likely a stunt actor, resembling Affleck and dressed in an identical costume to the one he sports in Batman v Superman was recently photographed filming what will likely be an epic chase scene, along with stunt performers dressed as his nemesis the Joker and his girlfriend Harley Quinn.

Jared Leto, 43, is playing the supervillain, while Margot Robbie, 24, will portray Harley in Suicide Squad. The two were photographed in character and kissing on the set earlier this month, while the actor was also seen in costume sitting inside a purple Lamborghini.

Both celebrity photographers and fans flocked to the set to capture pics and videos of the chase scene, which began filming earlier this week. The footage shows Batmobile chasing the Joker's vehicle and Batman crouching on it as it's moving, shooting sparks from the top.

"I believe in old school filmmaking," director David Ayer tweeted on Tuesday. "Real stunts. Real people. Real places. It makes all the difference on the screen. Thank you #Toronto."

Suicide Squad also stars Will Smith, 46, as Floyd Lawton, aka Deadshot, supermodel Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Scott Eastwood, 29, as Steve Trevor, How to Get Away With Murder's Viola Davis, 49, as Amanda Waller, Joel Kinnaman, 35, as Rick Glagg and Australian Insurgent and Terminator: Genisys actor Jai Courtney, 29, as Captain Boomerang.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set for release on March 25, 2016 and Suicide Squad hits theaters on Aug. 5 of that year.
