With the 2015 Cannes Film Festival wrapping over the weekend, its time to sit back and examine the many gorgeous gowns the graced the fête's red carpet affairs. And while Blake Lively (sadly) wasn't there to school the crowd on super-human style this year, there were style a few sartorial stars who rose to the occasion. Without further ado, let's recap.
Lupita Nyong'o collectively dropped jaws across the carpet when she did her signature twirl in a draped jade Gucci gown. Also in a vibrant hue, Chanel Iman was nothing short of regal in a ruby Donna Karan Atelier gown.
Sorry Cannes-goers, but when Diane Kruger hits the red carpet, you're going to be overshadowed. In a sparkling soft-blue Prada design, the 38-year-old instantly took our breath away.
In true supermodel fashion, Doutzen Kroes came to Cannes equipped with an array of sultry dresses, but none stood out more than this one-shoulder cutout Atelier Versace number. And Naomi Watts brought new meaning to elegant ensembles with this silver feathered and beaded Elie Saab confection.
In a custom velvet Givenchy Couture gown, Julianne Moore seamlessly blended drama and dark romance. Charlize Theron nailed the refined-fun look in an eye-catching lemon Christian Dior dress, and Emma Stone gave off a distinct bridal vibe in a pale blue halter dress also by Christian Dior.
Always one with a wow factor, Eva Longoria stunned in a frothy, dark navy Atelier Versace design. And rounding out our best dressed, Miranda Kerr was simply lovely in a plunging pink Emanuel Ungaro dress.
