When you're a reality show entering your 10th season, how do you top all the previous seasons? By having a contestant blow themselves up, apparently. That's what America's Got Talent is doing.

"It's the most extreme season so far," Nick Cannon told E! News. "We've got people setting themselves on fire, blowing up stuff. It's going to be outstanding."

OK, blowing themselves up?

"Oh yeah, she blew herself up in a car," Mel B teased. "And also a guy jumped from like a 12-story building."

And Mel B and her fellow judges—including Howard Stern, Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum—were fine with all of this? "I get shocked a little bit," Mel B told us. "I'm used to seeing extreme acts because I've been doing this show for three years, but nothing's more shocking than somebody literally blowing themselves up in a car—in a limo!"

Explosive stunts not your bag? Don't fret, Cannon promised there will be "amazing singers, amazing dancers," and the talent really do "take it to a whole different level" this year.

"There's just a lot of really fun stuff, from the crazy to the actual really talented to the wacko," Mel B. said. "It's just a really interesting, fun family show. It's the 10 year anniversary so they really souped it all up and it's good!"

America's Got Talent isn't the only thing coming from the uber busy Cannon. In addition to his hosting duties, he's executive producing multiple shows including Oxygen's upcoming reality series Next Gen Boss. So that begs the question: Does Nick Cannon sleep?

"I don't," he said. "I need to get more sleep, I really do. But you know what, I think I probably get about four hours a night." How dos he do it all? It's about having a good team in place. "Yeah, you got to have a solid team with you. When you can't do something they're there to kind of pick up the slack. A strong team is very important."

Members of that team will be highlighted in Next Gen Boss.

"It's cool, it's about focusing on people who work really hard. Speaking of teams, you don't get a chance to shed the light on people who are working their butts off, like the assistants, and showing they are the next generation bosses. It's like upper mobility on reality television," Cannon told us.

America's Got Talent premieres Tuesday, May 26 at 8 p.m. on NBC. Next Gen Boss will premiere on Oxygen later this year.

(E!, NBC and Oxygen are all part of the NBCUniversal family.)
