Can you believe it's been a whole year since the Wedding Event of our Lifetime? That's right, this Sunday is the first anniversary of none other than Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
And what a year it's been! They've laughed, they've cried, they invaded Armenia, they've become doctors (well one of them), they've given America more episodes of PDA than we could ever imagine. It's really been as good of a start to a marriage as the most famous couple in the universe could hope for. After all when your daughter has her very own invite to the most exclusive fashion shows, it's basically impossible to be sad, right?
When you've had such a legendary start to your marriage, it's hard to live up to the precedent you've built. What does a husband give a wife when he's already given her every rose petal that exists in the world? Yet somehow, we think that Kim and Kanye are going to find a way to persevere and really turn up on this first anniversary.
But just in case their family and friends are looking for a few tips (Scott Disick, here's looking at you), we compiled a list of possible gifts. Paper is the traditional present of the first anniversary, so you know we stuck with the theme. Read on, Kardashians, and start shopping!
1. Money. If someone loves money more than the Kardashian-Wests, we haven't found them. We assume they prefer hundreds only.
2. An autographed travel-sized copy of Selfie—something for Kanye to bring with him on the road.
3. Spa gift certificates. Something tells us Kim just does not treat herself enough.
4. Balmain's latest collection, but fashioned out of tissue. Gotta keep with the theme, yo!
5. The Book of Yeezus. For all the times they need to pray to God Kanye.
6. A lifetime subscription to Vogue, in planning ahead for North's inevitable cover.
7. A family caricature drawing. Because they definitely don't have that.
8. Paper grocery bags. The couple who has everything...probably doesn't have any recyclable bags hanging around.
9. Mailing labels, because they're still overjoyed that they don't live in their Mom's house anymore.
10. Plane tickets...to outer space. Because Mars is the one place that Kimye hasn't vacationed together.
