The Pitch Perfect actress recently stepped out to enjoy a New York Rangers game with comedian Mickey Gooch Jr. at Madison Square Garden, posting a number of photos on her various social media handles from the game of the pair rocking their matching jerseys. But it seems like this wasn't just a friendly hangout.
Us Weekly reports the duo, who met through mutual friends, are actually dating. "They get along really well, they respect each other's work," a source tells them. "She's been too busy to date for awhile, they've been texting often and they've been spending some time together in L.A. and New York."
E! News reached out to Wilson's rep for comment.
"You have to sacrifice relationships because you work, and now I travel all around the world," she told Australia's Elle magazine earlier this month when asked about her love life. "I'm constantly moving and constantly travelling and so it's really hard to maintain a relationship in that kind of environment."
Well, it looks like she's making it work!
Wilson has also been at the center of a little bit of controversy after Australian tabloid Woman's Day printed a story that claimed that the star has been lying about her name, age and background, among other things. But when the story gained pickup from other outlets, the comedienne responded on Twitter in the best way possible.
"OMG I'm actually a 100 year old mermaid formerly known as 'CC Chalice' ....thanks shady Australian press for your tall poppy syndrome x," she wrote.
