And now, our top five list of things we never expected to see in this life:
1. Monkeys flying out butts
2. Unicorns doing yoga
3. Leprachauns playing Twister
4. Hell freezing over
5. Cloris Leachman doing her "best Flavor Flav" (as Carrie Anne put it)
While we try to erase that vision from our collective memory, how about we dig into the latest installment of DWTS Prediction Smackdown, where a respected Vegas oddsmaker, a TV "expert" (read: obsessive fan) and you, the fans, square off on who will leave the dance floor tonight...
DWTS PREDICTION SMACKDOWN RESULTS SO FAR:
Odds Man Benjamin Eckstein: 1 for 4
Me: 1 for 4
You: 1 for 4
VEGAS ODDS ON WHO'LL GO NEXT:
(Courtesy of America's Line oddsmaker Benjamin Eckstein)
Cloris Leachman: 2-1
Susan Lucci: 8-1
Maurice Greene: 10-1
Cody Linley: 20-1
Lance Bass: 50-1
Warren Sapp: 50-1
Brooke Burke: 250-1
Eckstein Says: "We've been having a ton of fun with Cloris Leachman, but it's time to get serious. I will be working with an undercover organization, no name, just initials. And in our mission statement, the sole purpose is to hunt down every single freakin' bozo that voted for grandma Cloris and put little pieces of burning hot bamboo shoots in their eyes."
MY PREDICTION OF WHO'LL GO NEXT
Cloris Leachman.
Carrie Ann said it best: "We lost Toni Braxon for this?" Cloris doesn't even seem to care anymore—she looks exhausted and ready to head for the door. And with all the recent injuries on the show, can you blame her? When Corky started spinning her through the air, I thought we'd actually see a broken hip live on TV.
That said...Susan Lucci could very well be the one packing her bags. Cloris clearly has some mysterious fanbase who keeps rescuing her, while Susan was in the bottom two last week and just can't seem to, well, um, dance in any fashion that doesn't make her look like a robotic doll. (Small Wonder was more fluid!)
Shout-out: Bonus points to Lance Bass for his jive this week! With help from some 'N Sync alums (Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick) Lance was able to up his game and walk away with a score of 27, ensuring a spot for him next week.
