It was without a doubt an emotional night for the Kardashian and Jenner families.

While the world watched the first part of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce special on E!, several members of the famous family took to social media to live-tweet their reactions to the candid—and at times difficult—episode surrounding Bruce Jenner's decision to speak publically about his transition.

(At this time, Bruce Jenner has not chosen to publicly identify as a woman and so E! News will continue to refer to him as Bruce and use male pronouns, until he indicates otherwise.)

Khloé Kardashian thanked fans for their support and understanding and offered up a sweet message to her older sister, Kim Kardashian.

Instagram

"Bruce is so strong and courageous! I couldn't be prouder of him. This is so hard to relive. I love you," she began by saying.

"Kim has handled this transition with such grace and I'm incredibly proud to call her my sister…I hope you guys enjoyed tonight's part 1 special of About Bruce. And I'm anxious for you guys to see part 2 tomorrow. So proud of Bruiser."

Kim also shared her heartfelt thoughts to fans, writing, "Must have been so hard for Bruce to explain his story to each of us. Can u imagine?! I respect him so much 4 opening up & being so truthful."

Instagram

She continued, "Breaks my heart my mom questions if her memories were real. That was 4 sure a part of Bruce's life. Must be hard to go thru this as his wife…Awwww the tears! Watching this back & reliving this is harder than I imagined! I'm happy we opened up & shared our journey."

Lastly, Kourtney Kardashian chimed in on Instagram and wrote the following loving note: "Tonight we share a part of the journey we have been on in hopes of helping others in similar situations, or simply to help make the world a less judgmental place. We are all God's creatures and we all have a story. Let's work together to be kind."

Be sure to tune into part 2 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce on Monday at 9 p.m. on E!
