Here's to making a positive change!

Beyoncé recently traveled to Haiti to aid those affected by the devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake that struck the country nearly five years ago.

Taking the lives of nearly 300,000 people, the shattering catastrophe caused irreparable damage, forcing certain impoverished areas to be densely populated.

The "I Was Here" singer visited Haitians on a United Nations humanitarian mission to see what improvements have been made for residents in the passing time.

U.N. mission spokeswoman Sophie Boutaud de la Combe made a statement that Beyoncé was able to "meet some of the people who were affected by" by the 2010 tragic earthquake.

Visiting areas such as Port-au-Prince, the singer actively directed her efforts toward making further improvements, sporting her charity's BEYGOOD logo on her shirt.

The country's capital still has half-destroyed buildings around town and has not been the same since the disaster, according to Photographer Gael Turine, who spent the last 10 years photographing the country. He previously told TIME magazine, "The wounds are still here, and everyone says that they're living in worse conditions than before."

The 33-year-old songstress was all smiles while handing out necessary resources such as food and water to local residents in the Caribbean country.

Her charity's mission strives for awareness, especially after the more recent, deadly 7.8 Nepal earthquake that struck on April 25. It reads, "We are proud to join Music for Relief as they commit themselves to immediate relief and long-term recovery in Nepal. This is an opportunity to join us and #BeyGOOD to support the people of Nepal."

Keep up the great work Bey!
