E!After a surprising, scandalous and intriguing first season of The Royals, we just have two words regarding tonight's season ender: BUCKLE. UP.
"A lot will be revealed," Prince Liam (WIlliam Moseley) himself tells us. "And a lot won't be revealed," his on-screen twin, Princess Eleanor (Alexandra Park), adds with a laugh. "That's to keep you coming back for season two!" We'll take it.
Tonight's final hour of the season does not disappoint. We've seen the season finale, and suffice to say, our jaws made a huge dent in the ground. There's more than one insane revelation, twist, and game-changer in every single scene that if you go in and watch the hour without any preparations, we're pretty sure your head would explode.
That's why we're showing mercy, and dishing out all the teases we can (with a little help from William and Alexandra) to get you ready for tonight!
1. The death toll rises

2. Ophelia and Liam make a change
These two star-crossed lovers have had a tough road all season. But in the finale, they finally have the opportunity to get their fairytale ending for good. But will they take it? That's the real question, especially since it means giving up on Ophelia's dreams to become a professional dancer.
3. Unrequited love
We find out that someone else has eyes for Ophelia, and the revelation will absolutely break your heart.
4. Ta ta for now?
Someone moves away from the palace...far, far away.
5. Royal of the week
This episode showcases some of the best work from Alexandra Park. She will make you laugh, she will make you hysterically cry, she will make you scream, "Yasss!" more than once. MVP of the episode for sure, only rivaled by William Moseley. Give it up for the twins!
6. Beauty and the Beast
Eleanor and Jasper's relationship gets another interesting layer on top of all the complicated layers they already have. Maybe we should root for them after all? We're still bloody confused on that one.
7. Family reunion
King Simon and Cyrus' mother shows up at her son's bedside, and drops some majorly harsh truth bombs on Cyrus. This is a tough scene to watch, y'all.
8. The truth
Eleanor finally finds out what really happened to her brother Robert. "Robert defintely comes up," Alexandra tells us, "and there is a lot going on and a lot to process."
9. The final throwdown
Liam brawls with Cyrus and it feels so good! It's amazing, and everything we've ever wanted.
There will be more
"We're so excited we get to start shooting again for season two in a few weeks," Alexandra tells us. "We're incredibly proud of the show and all that we accomplished in season one." Season two premieres in November.
