Watch: "Pitch Perfect 2" Cast Reveals Their Audition Songs

When a movie is centered on its music, you have to wonder which songs the cast sang in order to ultimately snag their roles. Fortunately, E! News has the answer when it comes to Pitch Perfect 2!

We caught up with the talented cast and found out what musical numbers they chose to win over the casting directors, but some of their answers may surprise you. (Some, however, may not.) Two members of the second installment's Das Sound Machine took their own approach, with Flula Borg creating his own sound for his big debut while Birgitte Sorensen went with a classic.

"I invented a song about hamsters," Borg dished.

"I sang 'Faith' by George Michael," Sorensen added.

As for what Anna Kendrick sang? "Cups," of course! "Yeah, I was like 'I can do this thing,' and they were like, 'Great! Let's put that in the movie,'" she said of her famous song and matching hand gestures.

Rebel Wilson also went with the percussion route, performing Lady Gaga's "Edge of Glory" but adding a little something extra to her performance. "I did my own body percussion," she said.

Her partner-in-crime, Adam Devine, apparently missed the memo about preparing a musical number because he didn't realize Pitch Perfect was about acapella groups LOL.

"I thought it was a baseball movie that I was auditioning for," he said. "They asked me to sing a song and I was like, 'I'm not really a singer,' and they told me, 'You have to sing a song.'"

What was an unprepared Devine to do? Start crooning the first song that comes to mind, naturally.

"So I sang, 'Whatever happened to predictability? The milkman, the paperboy or the evening TV,' which is the Full House theme song, so I don't know how I got the role."

"Classic," responded Wilson upon hearing his tale.
