Ryan Reynolds showed that he was a doting dad—and a new Instagram star—Thursday when he uploaded the cutest photo of him and his daughter James. No, it's not a face pic, but we do get to see her teeny, tiny hand! Or is that her dad's? The photo shows James and her dad "thumb wrestling," but Blake Lively's husband jokes that he's the one being beaten by his daughter.
"Thumb wrestling isn't always fair," he captioned the pic. "Curiously, my hand is the small one."
If this doesn't make you "awww" we don't know what will!
Pretty much all of the Deadpool star's words and actions regarding his daughter have been nothing but swoonworthy. Talking about his constant exhaustion when his daughter was first born a couple of months ago, Reynolds admitted that he didn't mind because it's all worth it for James.
"There have been times where I woke up, literally had no idea I had been walking for five minutes," the hunky star told E! News exclusively while promoting Woman in Gold. "But you love it. You wake up in the middle of the night, you got a big stupid smile on your face. I was telling someone else that. Anything else that woke you up every 45 minutes, you'd kill it. But when it's a baby, it's the best thing that ever happened to you."
He also couldn't help but gush about his gorgeous wife, whom he says he has only gotten closer with since she gave birth. "When that happens you fall so much more in love with your partner. It's a pretty crazy experience," he dished to Jimmy Fallon. "What blows my mind is that it's so common yet it's so profound at the same time. Something so many people do."
Perfect wife? Check. Perfect daughter? Check. Amazingly good looking himself? Check.
