It's Official: Julie Plec Is Now the CW's Shonda Rhimes With Her Own Full Night of Shows and We Love it

Plec's two vampires shows, The Originals and The Vampire Diaries, will air back to back on Thursday nights, bumping Reign to Fridays

It's official: Julie Plec is the CW's Shonda Rhimes!

The network unveiled their new schedule for the 2015 fall season on Thursday morning, and for the second year in a row, The Originals is on the move. And fans of Plec's epic vampire shows will definitely be pleased as the Mikaelsons will be moving to Thursdays at 9 p.m., airing right after Plec's other hit vampire show, The Vampire Diaries. Your Thursday nights are about to be 100 times bloodier, y'all.

Also on the move? Reign, which will now air Fridays at 8 p.m., paired with America's Next Top Model
