Because Outsider Mike wanted to know how Gronk maneuvers off the field. You know, with the ladies.
"Right now, it's feast or famine for me on Tinder," the producer said. "Have you used Tinder at all recently?"
Well, as it turns out, the 25-year-old football player is not a stranger to the popular dating app.
"No one believed it was me," he shrugged. "It was fun, though!" (We have a feeling that gals he swiped right on felt the same...)
"I was writing messages. We were all laughing, it was during training camp, we all needed a good laugh. We had a blast!" he recalled.
And even though he's not the most active Tinder user, he had plenty of wisdom to share with Mike:
Rule No. 1: Don't Be Picky! "You've got to hit the swipe right button for every single one," he advised.
Rule No. 2: Utilize Pickup Lines: "Use the pickup lines they give you. Type in 'pickup lines on Tinder' and use those lines
Rule No. 3: Have Fun: "You can't be too serious, it's Tinder!"
Rule No. 4: Show 'Em the Muscles: Gronk advised Mike to ask the ladies, "Hey, do you work out, 'cause I'm ripped, I'm jacked,' and send them a picture with your shirt off. Something like that and they'll be like, 'Whoa, this guy is serious. I like him.'"
Works every time, surely.
