Yes, please.

Stephen Colbert, who's been largely MIA (minus his fabulous beard reveal) since The Colbert Report ended in December, was back in the spotlight today at CBS' Upfronts presentation at Carnegie Hall, taking the hot seat to talk about his upcoming plans as host of the Late Show, premiering in its new form on Sept. 8.

And speaking of a hot seat...

Dressed in a very "Stephen Colbert"-style suit and tie but appearing as himself, Colbert told reporters that he had been trying to find himself over the last few months via an Eat Pray Love-type journey, joking that his new hosting identity could be "as a Kardashian."

Luckily, he brought photos to illustrate his point. Cue the pic of Colbert channeling Kim Kardashian's now-infamous Paper magazine shoot, in particular the shot of Kim balancing a champagne glass on her voluptuous behind, a perfect arc of champagne filling the glass. (Which, of course, was a take on the iconic "Champagne Incident" portrait by Jean-Paul Goude.)

Only Colbert opted to balance that glass on his bare butt. He kept his suit jacket on, though.

"You have no idea how much waxing that required," he...cracked.

There were other characters, too, such as Colbert putting out a distinguished Sean Connery vibe, but...

We'll be sorry to see David Letterman go next week, but... cheers to the upcoming Late Show With Stephen Kardashian!
