Instead of "You Can't Take Command," maybe Scandal's season four finale should've been called "You Can't Take What's Going to Happen to Fitz and Olivia!"

The fan-favorite pairing looks to be in serious trouble judging from this clip we got our hands on from the ABC hit's May 14 finale. And in true Olitz fashion, the major moment goes down over the phone.

"I just wanted to say hello and good luck with Mellie's election," Olivia (Kerry Washington) says in the clip, but we can tell she's thinking something else. How? Because our head Gladiator can barely keep herself together, on the verge of tears.

And the last thing she says to Fitz (Tony Goldwyn)? Well, that'll just break your heart. Press play on the sneak peek above to listen in on Olitz's phone call...

So why is Olivia so emotional on the phone? Well, she and the rest of the team are finally making some major moves in their attempt to finally take down command aka her father, Rowan (Joe Morton). But part of their plan may just include destroying Fitz's legacy as president. You know, just your typical, everyday relationship issues.

And unfortunately, Goldwyn is doing little to ease our finale-related anxiety, answering a fan's inquiry about Fitz possibly dying in "You Can't Take Command" on Twitter with this: "I'll take the 5th on that one! #ScandaFinalel#nospoilers." GAH

In case you missed the good news earlier, ABC has renewed Scandal for a fifth season (duh), as well as picked up How To Get Away With Murder for a second season (double duh) and Greys Anatomy (triple duh). Long live TGIT...as long as we make it through finale night.

Scandal's finale airs Thursday, May 14 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
