Model and Army veteran Noah Galloway proposed to girlfriend Jamie Boyd live on Monday's semifinals episode of DWTS after he and partner Sharna Burgess wowed the judges (four 9's!) with a dance to David Cook's "Time of My Life."
"Jamie, the moment that you surprised me on the show was one of the most amazing moments that I've ever had. This song, the 'Time of My Life,' you've given that to me," Galloway told Boyd backstage. Then, taking her hand and kneeling down, "I've got to do this here, because... Would you marry me?"
Boyd of course had a resounding yes for him and the newly engaged couple hugged fiercely.
"I'm speechless—and I'm never speechless!" an emotional Boyd said. "Oh, baby, I love you so much."
"I love you," Galloway replied.
Boyd, an Army reservist, had surprised her then-boyfriend on camera in March when she returned to town early from assignment and popped up during one of his post-dance interviews with Erin Andrews—and she of course has been a fixture in Galloway's cheering section ever since.
"Jamie has been so supportive throughout my entire journey. I have been wanting to propose for a while, and when she surprised me in the Skybox, it was such a shock, if I had the ring with me I would have done it right then and there," he told People after popping the question. "That was a moment when I knew I wanted to propose to her on the show. I always thought if I made it to the finale I would propose, but I realized the competition is so stiff I couldn't let the opportunity pass me by in case this is the end of the road for me on the show."
