Like mother, like daughter!
Beyoncé was one of many celebrities to share heartfelt messages and family pictures on Mother's Day Sunday afternoon. But being the Queen Bey that she is, the "Crazy in Love" singer decided to step it up in her own unique way.
On the left side of her split photo just posted, Beyoncé worked pigtails at a very young age while standing next to mom Tina Knowles. Fast-forward decades later and Mrs. Jay Z shared the same pose with her daughter Blue Ivy Carter.
"Sending love to Mothers around the world," she captioned on Instagram. Awww!
Beyoncé and Blue Ivy's all-white look was taken just last month when Tina said "I Do" to longtime beau Richard Lawson. The pair exchanged vows on a yacht in Orange County, Calif., in front of family and very close friends.
As it turns out, it was Blue Ivy herself that helped make the longtime couple decide to finally get married officially.
"[In September] we went on a boat with Beyoncé and Jay Z and when we came out one night dressed to go to dinner, Blue said, ‘Oh, y'all look beautiful. When are y'all getting married?'" Tina shared with People. "Richard said, ‘Oh, Blue, soon. Do you approve?'"
Safe to say that answer was an absolute yes!
