Well, at least we can laugh about it now!

It may feel like yesterday when U2 was forced to postpone their weeklong residency on NBC's The Tonight Show. But after Bono suffered an arm injury while cycling in Central Park, the guys agreed they had to reschedule their appearance.

Almost six months after the incident, the Irish rockers returned to Jimmy Fallon's show Friday night and they were more than ready to poke fun at Bono's injury.

In a pre-taped skit, the U2 frontman and Fallon hopped on bicycles outside the studio. Unfortunately, Bono would end up getting hit not once but three separate times by a moving car.

"I'm good Jimmy, just a few scratches," he claimed in the video. "I'm ready to do the show."

In an added twist, the cameras turn to the driver behind the wheel of the reckless car. Guess who it is? Band members Adam Clayton, The Edge and Larry Mullen Jr. LOL!

All jokes aside, Bono's injury was nothing short of serious. In fact, during a recent interview with the New York Times, the 54-year-old admitted he still can't play guitar.

"I didn't come off a Harley-Davidson. I came off a push bike and smashed myself to bits. There is no glory here," he shared with the publication. "They say that nerves heal about a millimeter a week, so in about 13 months I should know if it's coming back."

He added, "But this is the hand bit because I can't play guitar." If anyone can recover, it has to be Bono. Get well soon, rock star!
