Although the election hasn't happened yet, Joel Madden's money is on Barack Obama for the win.

Joel deejayed at the Breeders' Cup Winners Circle party Thursday night, telling reporters he and Nicole came out because the event benefits St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

The Good Charlotte rocker stressed that because of the economic recession, families are finding it harder to pay for children's health care.

"I'm excited for Obama to be president, because of his health-care reform," he said on the carpet at the Hollywood Palladium.

They weren't the only couple making predictions at the party...

Lauren Conrad's ex-boyfriend, Jason Wahler, says he doesn't think she and Heidi Montag will go back to being BFFs despite their recent reunion.

"She doesn't learn," Jason said of his former GF. "Heidi used her, Brody uses her."

As for Jason and his fiancée, Katja Decker-Sadowski, using MTV cameras for their wedding? The duo says despite being offered a Newlyweds type of show, they're not interested.

"I'd rather have a successful marriage than a successful reality show," Katja told E! News.

Inside the bash, Maroon 5 performed for a packed house as partygoers sipped Grey Goose cocktails.
