While former Jersey Shore star Nicole "Snooki" LaValle originally shot to fame thanks to her hard-partying ways, the 27-year-old beauty is now dishing out motherhood advice, three years after the hit MTV show ended.
In a candid interview with E! News on Thursday in NYC, the mother of two opened up about kids Lorenzo, 2, and Giovanna, 8 months, her new book Baby Bumps and reveals how many children she hopes to have with husband Jionni LaValle.
"I wrote the book because when I was pregnant I kept a journal…I wasn't ready to be pregnant, I always wanted kids, but I just wasn't ready at 24, I wanted it at 26," the pink-sized star, who looked better than ever in a blue and white romper from her collection, reveals. "So with my journal I just kept writing everything that I was going through—‘Oh my god I want to drink so bad, I want a cigarette'—and you can't obviously do that when you're pregnant.
"So just being first time pregnant and having to deal with all of those things, I wrote it down in the book," she continues. "Just so when other woman get pregnant they know exactly what to expect. And it sucks—but, it's all worth it because you have beautiful babies. But I definitely think the whole process of pregnancy, it hurts."
While Snooki may not be a fan of pregnancy, the former reality star loves being a mom and couldn't help but joke about son Lorenzo, who is going through his "terrible twos."
"Lorenzo's a pain in the ass," she quips. "I mean I love him to death, but he's a pain in the ass, he's going through his terrible twos. He talks back to me, he doesn't listen, but the good thing is he's terrified of timeout…so if he ever acts up, I'm like ‘you're going in timeout' and then he stops."
As for daughter Giovanna? "Giovanna is 8 months…and she's just a happy baby, always smiling, she never cries and she's literally my twin," Snooki shares.
The proud mama also admits she's still breastfeeding her baby girl and reveals that Giovanna sleeps in bed with her. "I'm still breastfeeding…and I don't want to anymore because my boobs hurt," she says. "And they say after six months, you can actually stop and start using formula, but I can't. It's just so convenient at night because we sleep together."
When it comes to Snooki's past wild antics that first put her on the map, the proud mom and wife says she has no desire to party like she did in the past.
"I'm not drinking, I don't have the urge to, because I drank so much from 13 to 24, so I kind of like drank for 10 people's lifetimes, but once in a while I do like to go out with my girlfriends. And it's mainly wine, it's not like chugging vodka anymore. But I love my wine…I can't drink like I used to. I don't know how I did it."
