Have (no) mercy!
John Stamos is about to be everywhere, and we're totally OK with it. Not only is he signed on to co-star in and executive produce Netflix' Full House revival, but now he's starring in a brand new show on Fox!
Grandfathered stars Stamos as a longtime bachelor whos life is upended when he discovers he not only has a son named Gerald (Drake & Josh's Josh Peck) but also a two-year old granddaughter, thanks to Gerald's one-night stand with the sexy Vanessa (Christina Milian).
The single-camera comedy also stars Paget Brewster, Kelly Jenrette and Ravi Patel, and comes from executive producers Danny Chum, Stamos, and Galavant's Dan Fogelman.
But if you're worried, Fuller House fans: cut it out! This won't affect Stamos' role on the new Netflix reboot. Breathe a sigh of relief in 3...2...1...
Fox also announced that it has picked up The Guide to Surviving Life, a single-camera comedy that celebrates the mistakes and misadventures we all make during the years after college before settling down.
The series stars Jack Cutmore-Scott, Meaghan Roth (who's also in the cast of NBC's People Are Talking), James Earl, Charlie Saxton, Justin Bartha and Maureen Sebastian, and hails from executive producers Jay Lacopo, Gail Berman and James Griffiths.
Earlier this evening, Fox announced that it has also picked up two other shows: The Grinder, starring Rob Lowe and Fred Savage, and the medical drama Rosewood. Get all the details on all this fall's new shows with this handy dandy list of all the latest announcements!
